Hai! I’m Kendra, or I also go by Peaches! (my battle name)

I came into this sport as a human simply interested In all things active and nerdy. I wouldn’t call myself a fan of Star Wars, but I don’t mind it either. It seemed like a fun way to test myself and try something different in the fitness world (I’ve never done any sort of martial art or combat sport). I fell in love with the sport itself, the INCREDIBLE community.. and maybe our rector. (Lol)

Instructor Form 1 & 2

Hello, my name is Rob Zollinger. I am married with two teenage boys. I work as an electrical lineman out of I.B.E.W. 1249, NY. I started training in martial arts when I was fourteen. I earned a Brown Belt in Karate, a Green Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and was a Level 3 Combatives Instructor in the U.S. Army. After retiring from military service I was looking for something new to train in, however, I did not want to start a new hand-to-hand system. While looking for HEMA or Kendo clubs in my area I found LudoSport. In the last five years, LudoSport has truly become a passion for me. Please, come check it out and let us introduce this amazing experience to you.

Style Judge

Robin is a creative making a living through working with computers.  She found out about LudoSport thanks to the immersive academy-style LARP, Starfall Academy, where it was taught how to wield crystal sabers.  Initially worried about igniting a purple-bladed saber marking her as a part of the combat-focused sect, they were blown away by the community surrounding the lightsaber combat and the acceptance and inclusivity she immediately felt.  A veteran of live-action roleplaying and boffer sport for over a decade, the clear care and respect between participants, both veterans and new to the fighting style, was a reinvigorating breath of fresh air and she hopes to pass that feeling to those she gets to teach.  She’s not put a saber down since.
